North Durham Academy celebrates GCSE Results

North Durham Academy is delighted to announce an amazing performance in this years GCSE exams, reflecting the outstanding dedication and hard work from our students, teachers and staff. The results are a testament to the academies commitment to providing a high-quality education that nurtures academic excellence and personal growth.

This year, saw an impressive improvement across a number of subjects including English and Mathematics. These results underscore the improving academic standards at North Durham Academy and the perseverance of their students.

Mark Gray, Head Teacher of North Durham Academy, praised the achievements. “We are incredibly proud of our students who have shown outstanding commitment to their studies. These results reflect not only their hard work but the exceptional support from our teaching and pastoral staff, who are dedicated to ensuring that every student achieves their best.”

Among the many success stories are several students who achieved amazing individual results -

Amy Armstrong achieved four grade 9’s and six grade 8’s.

Jack Kenna achieved one grade 9 and 5 grade 8’s.

Amy Millmore achieved three grade 9’s and three grade 8’s.  

Louisa Smith achieved five grade 8’s and three grade 7’s

Grace Hansom achieved 2 grade 9’s and 4 grade 8’s.  

As we celebrate these results, North Durham Academy remain committed to providing an outstanding education for all of our students. We are dedicated to continuing to support their academic growth and personal development as they move forward with their educational journeys.
